Hello friends! 

2017 took some amazing people too soon, both Ciesla and Wenham families left devastated. Mike’s brother Jeremy passed at 30 in August, and now Stuart Wenham has lost his battle with Melanoma on December 23rd, at 60.  

What was going to be a shave of heads to sympathise with Stuey as he lost his hair following radiation treatments, became a shave in honour of him, as planned on NYE to help raise awareness and fund Melanoma research.

We are so grateful to have had an extra two months with Stuey. New Melanoma meds brought him back from near death in September (less than a week from diagnosis) to playing tennis, having all of the laughs and his usual shenanigans. Unfortunately Melanoma is very aggressive and the treatment couldn't beat it for him. 

Melanoma kills more young Australians (20-34 year olds) than any other cancer! 

Melanoma Institute Australia has and still is developing immunotherapy drugs that can and have cured Melanoma but much more is needed to beat this horrible cancer! All donations are appreciated, as they are a non-profit organisation hugely reliant upon community funding and support. Without individual donors they would not be able to continue the groundbreaking research, high standard of treatment, and life saving education that they offer.
