Summer Fridays
Story
Summer Fridays: wear your beach shirt to work each Friday!
Hello friends! I’m fundraising to help cure melanoma and raise awareness of summer sun safety.
Wear a bright beach shirt or blouse/top or sarong on mufti Fridays in Summer to promote awareness of melanoma. Get your beach shirt from shops like Lowes or a beachside boutique. Now, there's a Christmas gift idea! For a workplace that requires a uniform or personal protective clothing we have a logo that you can print and wear on your top. The label is Avery 980040, available at stationery shops and Office Works. https://www.averyproducts.com.au/product/fabric-print-divide-name-badges-labels-980040.
Fun tip: see how many people you spot on the way to work in a beach shirt this summer and say hello!
Get your whole work team to tip in a dollar (or more!) each Friday for melanoma research. Post your photo and fun news on your company web page. The promotion runs in January and February every Friday.
See the link to send your money to the Melanoma Foundation and see how the fund progresses. Did you know that Melanoma kills more young Australians (20-34 year olds) than any other single cancer? Melanoma Institute Australia is a non-profit organisation hugely reliant upon community funding and support. Without individual donors they would not be able to continue the groundbreaking research, high standard of treatment, and life saving education that they offer. Thanks so much for your support!
