Hello friends! 

As most of you know, we lost Big Bod last year to brain cancer which started out for him in the form of Melanoma quite a few years earlier.

To honour the big man and to challenge myself I will be hiking the Kokoda Track through the PNG jungle from March 19th to 28th and I am fundraising to help cure melanoma. 

The mental & physical challenges Bod faced during his battle with cancer were huge so I thought it would be fitting that I take on a huge mental & physical challenge in order to raise funds in his memory. Apart from the treacherous track after the wet season, the malaria carrying mosquitoes, the chest high water crossings thru leach infested water, the local headhunters, the humidity, and the blisters, I will be sharing a tent with a Man United fan for the week - so that fact alone is surely worth sponsoring!

Melanoma Institute Australia is a non-profit organisation hugely reliant upon community funding and support. Without individual donors they would not be able to continue the groundbreaking research, high standard of treatment, and life saving education that they offer.
