Dear friends 

Join me in helping the Melanoma Institute of Australia achieve the ambition of no deaths from melanoma within a decade.  That means finding a cure for Melanoma, a disease which kills more young Australians than any other single cancer.

In 2019 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma. The work of MIA and other research groups has led to breakthrough discoveries in treatment, from which I and thousands of others with advanced cancer have benefitted.  But the majority of those on immunotherapy and other revolutionary treatments are either resistant to treatment or eventually develop resistance or intolerance to these new drugs, which offer the only hope to those with advanced Melanoma. 

I'm raising funds to help MIA with its research to develop early warning tests, to crack the dreadful puzzle of drug resistance and find a cure for Melanoma. 

Melanoma Institute Australia is a non-profit organisation hugely reliant upon community funding and support. Without individual donors they would not be able to continue the groundbreaking research, high standard of treatment, and life saving education that they offer.
